OTOP stands for One Tambon (village) One Product.
This government project encourages local businesses that create work in remote villages and areas. The government helps to commercialize and improve local craft products. The National OTOP committee helps with product placement and quality control, among other things and it advises on packaging and exporting the products. Our balls are handmade locally in the villages. The products are made in leisure time, when there are no obligations on the field or in the family. In this way the worker can continue to take care of their family and they have no extra travel costs. They receive a fair remuneration per ball delivered.
