Questions and answers

  • What is the best way to contact you?
    Contact us by e-mail : sales@happylights.be During the week we’re also available to answer your questions via telephone: +32 (0) 56 19 18 80 between 10:00 AM and 16:00 PM.
  • How do I subscribe to your newsletter?
    You can find the subscribe button on our homepage. You can also send an email to sales@happylights.be.
  • I would like to order, but I don't have a creditcard or bank card or I can't seem to order on your webshop.
    No problem, send an e-mail to sales@happylights.be We'll be happy to help you.
  • Where does Happy Lights deliver to?
    Happy Lights ships worldwide! If your country is not available in the shipping menu, send a mail to sales@happylights.be.
  • When can I expect delivery of my order?
    If all goes well we should be able to send your order within two working days by GLS, DPD parcel service or by Bpost. Delivery times depend on your location. In the Benelux delivery time is 24/48hours.
  • How can I follow the status of my order?
    We work with transport companies GLS, DPD and Bpost. When you place an order you always receive a tracking number when it is sent, so you can easily follow your order. If you have not received an e-mail, check your spam mail or send us an e-mail on sales@happylights.be for a copy.
  • Can I use my Happy Lights outside?
    The handmade light string and the balls can't stand rain. But you can of course use them on your garden party, providing you take them inside again afterwards. You can use the Happy Lights Outdoor outside 24/7!
  • Can I order a gift voucher?
    Yes you can! Send us an e-mail at sales@happylights.be we'll be happy to help you. Soon you will be able to buy gift vouchers in our webshop too.
  • My light string doesn't light up, what do I do?
    For the outdoor string lights: you have to tighten the bulbs hard enough. They are water resistant and must therefore be fully screwed in.
    For the indoor light strings: maybe a light bulb got loose or damaged during transport. Please check the light bulbs. The bulbs are replaceable and you received at least 2 spare bulbs.

  • How do I get the fold out of my big ball?
    If the fold is not out of your big ball after taking the necessary steps (see manual), this could be due to the following reasons:
    1. 1. The balloon was not inflated hard enough.
    2. 2. You have not moistened the ball enough with the spray.
    3. 3. There was a small hole in the balloon you used, causing it to lose air during the dry time.
    You can repeat the process until the fold is out.
  • What payments do you accept?
    All payments on the webshop are processed by Shopify Payments and MOLLIE. Do you prefer to pay by bank transfer? No problem! Please send an e-mail with your request to sales@happylights.be.
  • What can I do when I receive wrong articles or damaged goods?
    Despite taking very good care of all items, an article can somehow get damaged. If the outside of the packaging appears to be damaged due to transportation it is very important to notify the delivery company when you receive the package, you have the right to refuse the package.
    In case of damaged goods please also contact us via email sales@happylights.be or +32 (0) 56 19 18 80.
    Provide us with all info available including pictures.
  • How can I exchange articles?
    Happy Lights strives for 100% satisfaction of its customers. Not satisfied with your order? After receiving the package, you hold the right to notify us within 14 business days and send it back to us. The items must be shipped to in its original package without damage.

  • When will an article that is sold out be available again?
    Send an e-mail to our sales department sales@happylights.be.
  • Can I make an order without VAT If I live outside the EU?
    Our website is set up so that the VAT is automatically deducted when you order from outside the EU.
  • Can I make an order without VAT when I have a business in the EU?
    Yes you can! You do need an account to do that. We need this account to verify your VAT number and make it so that you will not have to pay VAT in Belgium. If your business is located in Belgium, you will have to pay VAT anyway.
